After word that Victor Reyes of The Seventh Letter Crew was contracted to do art for the San Francisco Louis Vuitton store, Toronto graffiti artist Skam Rocks was contacted to do his own thing at the Toronto location in honour of the Stephen Sprouse Campaign currently being exhibited by the popular label.

Less than four months after the death of the French couturier Yves Saint Laurent, his longtime partner and companion Pierre Bergé announced in September that he intended to sell the art collection that they had compiled over 50 years together.The three-day sale by Christie's France in collaboration with Pierre Bergé & Associés, Bergé's own auction house, started Feb. 23. Labeled the "sale of the century" it will include over 700 lots with an estimated total value of $255 million to $380 million.

Drake Interview with Eighty
Drizzy is on the verge of full blown stardom, and it is well deserved. Let it be clear, we've been following Drake since Room for Improvement. Definitely one of the few artists today that goes in with every single track. If you're not bumping his So Far Gone mixtape already, which I'm sure you already are, then do so immediately. This interview gives a little insight to what success is to Drake. This guy is opening a lot of doors for the North.
"THE GROWTH" MIXTAPE RELEASE
As a poet, lyricist and songwriter, Donovan "Dizmal" Williams has never stopped progressing. Growing up in the South Shore of Montreal, he took in the R&B sounds of groups such as Jagged Edge and Dru Hill. But after moving to Toronto at the age of 10, his passion for music began to grow even more and he came to appreciate the art of hip hop, in all its various forms. From listening to artists like Nas, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and his older cousin Brandon aka Silas of Unknown Elementz, he has been able to create a sound that is closely related to his influences, yet still uniquely his own.
On Friday, February 27th 2009 Dizmal will be releasing his 3rd studio mixtape titled "The Growth". Its been almost 2 years since the last mixtape, and he's finally ready for more.
The cd features production by Studder, Michael Durante, Kyle Potter, and Silas. With appearances by Teddy, Michael Durante, Peter Jackson, ASAP and Di Rosa.

After graduating with a major in Architecture from the Highschool of Art and Design NYC, Matthew Waldman decided to go freelance instead of attending Harvard U for design. Working in Japan and the U.K. for various design firms, he went solo and launched Nooka, which is Hawaiian for "sleek". When asked about his designs, Waldman is quoted as saying, "The linear and graphic representation of time with Nooka timepieces presents a more intuitive way to view time. The visual mass increases as time passes, giving weight to an abstract concept."
